Who we are

The Hepatitis C Partnership is a national collaborative network of stakeholders working in the area of Hepatitis C.

Those involved represent the statutory as well as the community and voluntary sectors with service user involvement at its centre.  Organisations represented on the partnership steering group include:

 

Community Response

Community Response was established in 1990, based in the Liberties in the South Inner City of Dublin and provides a comprehensive programme for primary alcohol and hepatitis C services. It offers a range of services in relation to hepatitis C, group support, one-to-one support and referral pathways to treatment. www.communityresponse.ie

Irish Haemophilia Society

The Irish Haemophilia Society provides information, education, services and support to all with bleeding disorders and their families. www.haemophilia.ie

Coolmine Drug Treatment Centre

Coolmine Therapeutic Community passionately believes that everybody should have the opportunity, support and enabling environment to overcome addiction and to lead a fulfilled and productive life. UISCE (Union for Improved Services Communication and Training)

The Union for Improved Services Communication and Education (UISCE), an advocacy and lobby group for drug users is based in the North Inner City. UISCE work to ensure that those in need of services have their voice heard by policy-makers and practitioners. UISCE represent the voice of drug users both locally and nationally. Key activities include highlighting relevant issues affecting drug users and users of drug service gathering and disseminating information to relevant bodies and facilitating the participation of drug users in local structures to improve access to, and quality of, services in the local area. www.facebook.com/BrassMunkie

Health Service Executive

HSE Addiction Services support the provision of an integrated range of preventative, theraputic and rehabilitation services to meet the diverse health and social care needs of our service users in an accountable, accessible and equitable manner. www.hse.ie/eng/services/list/5/addiction/

National Drug Treatment Centre

As the largest and longest established national addiction treatment (Day) centre in the country, our aim is to continue providing a broad range of specialist treatments for a variety of drug using populations and those requiring specialist psychiatric, psychological, social and medical interventions. www.addictionireland.ie/about/mission.asp
